About the event

Massive night installed for the city of Inverness as we invite Jay Carder up to the capital of the Highlands. A true lover of radio, Jay covers a length and breadth of sounds on air, which she showcases every Monday on Rinse FM alongside the likes of Hessle Audio and Tasha. Annie Nightingale is currently championing her as one of her scholarship DJs, and Jay's first radio show on Radio 1 aired in November 2023 (linked below). She’s also a regular voice on NTS and Soho Radio, the latter for which her monthly show “House of Carder x Wavlngth”, showcases a unique connection between India and the UK by aligning downtempo chillout mixes from artists in both countries. Jay co-runs the label Erbium Records with two friends DJ Trieste & graphic designer Oliver Green. Releasing a wide range of sounds across the dance music spectrum, the label is slowly gathering traction in the scene with their forthcoming 16th release by Delano already seeing support on 6Music from Mary Anne Hobbs and throughout the underground. Jay released her first EP 'Entropy' on FAUX POLY at the end of 2022. It saw support from the likes of Martyn, Bakey, dBridge, Jossy Mitsu and gained plays across Rinse, NTS and various underground platforms as well as Radio 1 and 6Music, where 'Eva's Stoned' was playlisted for 3 weeks in January 2023 and Mary Anne Hobbs invited Jay for a Friday Guest mix (linked below). A year later, there’s more music and even more exciting mixes in the works, as well as debut shows in Berlin and at Drumsheds for Bicep’s Chroma AV show. If there was ever one to watch, it most certainly is Jay Carder!
