THE DAZED DIGITAL AGE (THE DDA), an Electronica band from the Highlands of Scotland fresh from the release latest single PETE DOHERTY play a hometown show at Upstairs Inverness on Friday December 27th with support from Lowt & Assume.
The song PETE DOHERTY is inspired by the nostalgic era of the band’s youth, reminiscing on a time lost while celebrating it. Pete Doherty becomes a distorted symbol, making a comment on the death of an era while we are widening the scope for the digital age in music - a million miles away from the early noughties when indie music was ruling the roost. The song is a homage to a time now fleeting while socials, algorithms and AI take hold - for good or for worse. The video for the single touches on this idea, with flurries of black comedy, the band is searching for a cardboard cut out…
